MESSAGE FROM THE WCC PRESIDENT AND ADMINISTRATOR
We’ve weathered the storm!!! And thankfully we got through it brilliantly!!
Of course we’re extremely fortunate in that Irma did not hit us head on; it could have been much worse! We came away with minimal damage and have much to be grateful for. With our electricity and plumbing intact and virtually all community activities up and running, it is business as usual at Wynmoor.
Of course, some of us will have some damage but as of this writing, there have been no major incidents reported.
As in all prior storms, a good deal of our landscape has been destroyed and there is damage to much of our outside lighting as well. You may have noticed that our crews literally began the clean up just as soon as it was safe to go outside.
This is our opportunity to say Thank You…..to the entire community, to the staff, to our Broward County Commissioner and to the City of Coconut Creek. All of us cooperating and coordinating together helped us through with what could have been a catastrophic event.
The proof is evident….we always stress the importance of PREPAREDNESS. We were all prepared and now we can begin to enjoy our wonderful life here in Wynmoor once again!
