Ann Stringer completed this stunning "Sun Catcher" in 1989. Ann was a novice craftsperson at the time she undertook the project. She presented The Yellow Fin Tuna to her son-in-law, Stanley, who is an avid fisherman. The piece measures 44 by 15 inches and now hangs in Stanley's home in Westbury, New York. The pattern, designed by a friend, is an original. This work of art was awarded First Place in the Wynmoor Art Show of 1989
